"Thank you for organising our holiday (to China).

We had a great time.

All of the guides were on time, very well informed and easy people to be with.

We have seen so many things and eaten in local places where we would never have gone by ourselves.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you and if you would like more details of our adventures or a statement of recommendation let us know."

Kaeng Krachan National Park, located on the western border with Myanmar, is the country’s largest national park, and undoubtedly one of Thailand’s bird watching gems. Among the many birds to see here are rachet-tailed treepie, silver oriole, rufous-bellied eagle, jerdon´s bazaa, besra, yellow-vented pigeon, plain-pouched hornbill, dusky broadbill and the black and red broadbill.

Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park contains some of the best shoreline/wetland habitat in Thailand, and the park is listed as a site of global conservation importance. Birds to see here include spotted greenshank the sandy beaches of the park provide habitat for nesting Malaysian plovers and little terns, while the marshes are frequented by painted storks, grey herons, great and small egrets, purple herons, white-bellied sea eagles and a small number of spotted and imperial eagles.

Samut Sakhorn is located west of Bangkok between the Tachin and Mae Klong Rivers, and supports a large number and variety of waders, including three stints, numerous broad-billed and marsh sandpipers, and a few terek sandpipers and spoon-billed sandpipers. Samut Sakhon is also home to significant populations of egrets, terns and gulls.

Doi Inthanon National Park is home to Thailand’s highest peak (2,565m) and is famous amongst birdwatchers for the variety of mountain species that can be seen here. With at least 400 species of birds, Doi Inthanon is a must for anyone visiting Thailand on a birding trip, and a small sphagnum bog near the summit of the mountain is a paradise for birdwatchers.

Among the many birds to see here are black eagle, rufous-bellied eagle and mountain hawk eagle, high elevation species such as the chestnut-tailed minla, white-browed shortwing, and green-tailed sunbird, and a pygmy wren-babbler, snowy-browed flycatcher, and orange-flanked bush robin to mention a few.

Doi Suthep National Park, 40 kilometers from Chiang Mai, hosts about 320 species of birds including a number of less common winter migrants from northern Asia and some sub mountain species, including white-hooded babbler, red-billed scimitar babbler, orange-headed ground thrush and orange-flanked bush robin. In addition to two species of pitta (blue and rusty-naped), the park contains rarities such as the purple cochoa, green cochoa, wedge-tailed green pigeon, and spot-throated babler. Doi Angkhang, 160 kilometers from Chiang Mai, is a remote mountainous region. Its vast area extends to the border of Myanmar and was once covered with hill evergreen forests. The heavy demand of cultivating land had led to the heavy deforestation and turned the dense woods to fruitlands and paddyfields home of a myriad of resident and migrated birds. Te weather on the mountain is pleasantly cool all year around and there are many superb birding trails.

Among the many birds to see here are Hume´s pheasant, rufous-winged buzzard, black eagle, mountain bamboo-partridge, golden-throated barbet, crimson-breasted woodpecker, and bay woodpecker.

Khao Nor Chuchi National Park, 170 Kilometers from Krabi, supports the most diverse remaining lowland bird fauna of any site so far known in the peninsular of Thailand, with over 280 species of resident and migrant birds, including Wallace’s hawk-eagle, crested wood-partridge, crested fireback, little green pigeon, jambu fruit-dove, Diard’s trogon, black hornbill, red-crowned barbet, ferruginous babbler, rufous-crowned babbler, striped wren-babbler, large wren-babbler, chestnut-rumped babbler, black-throated babbler.
