Panglao Island Tour

Dauis Church & Watch Tower

A tour of Panglao island includes a visit to the Church of our Lady of the Assumption in the town of Dauis. The original church, built from light materials was built in 1768, but the present structure - the Church's 5th incarnation - was built in 1863. Its Gothic architecture makes for an imposing structure with the sea and watch tower as a backdrop.

Bohol Coco Farm

Bohol Coco Farm is an eco tourist attraction that gives you a comprehensive farm tour, where a knowledgeable guide will introduce you to the various aspects of the farm and show you a variety of herbs & vegetables growing in their natural state, including eggplant, ginger, okra and a whole host of other vegetables. Also see the native chickens and pigs that are cultivated. See how the Coco Farm uses various by-products of the coconut, such as weaving the husks into fibres that are then turned into matting to help prevent soil erosion and protect against landslides.

There's also a "Coco Skywalk" which can be undertaken by those over the age of seven. This walk is suspended between a number of Coconut Trees and gives a commanding view over the site.

The Coco Farm’s Palwa Restaurant serves a variety of refreshments such as fresh Buko Juice, along with a selection of traditional dishes. All the vegetables are organically grown on the farm.

Bee Farm, Panglao island

Bee Farm offers delicious meals from organically-grown vegetables and is a wonderfully relaxing place for visitors. It contributes to the local community and the environment and everything they do is geared towards encouraging and inspiring farmers to work organically. They introduce and teach them different livelihood activities which they can pursue in tandem with farming, and Bee Farm also assists in marketing their products.
