In Manila, we first enjoy a tour of the Philippines' capital. We then fly south to Bohol, which has beautiful tropical beaches, the amazing Chocolate Hills, Loboc River, and of course, the Philippines Tarsier - the world's smallest primate. A visit to Cebu presents a pleasant discovery of its rich history, multifaceted culture and captivating people. It provides a glimpse of the country's glorious past, with a number of preserved historic relics standing until today. Taking a boat to the Camotes Islands, we enjoy a few days at a beach resort at San Francisco. We catch a boat to Ormoc, on the island of Leyte, where we explore Ormoc City, and Lake Danoe, and the Tongonan National Park & Hot Springs. Moving on to Tacloban, we take in the scene of General McArthurs landing point at Palo during WWII when the Americans began the liberation of the Philippines. Panglao island has Bohol's best sandy beaches, the most well known being Alona Beach.
