Luzon Discovery - Rice Terraces, Volcano & Whaleshark Adventure - 8 Days

Banaue - Sagada - Legaspi - Donsol

The Banaue Rice Terraces stand as the most awe-inspiring man-made landscape in the Cordilleras. Sagada is a town nestled among picturesque mountain scenery.

Legaspi is famous for the Mount Mayon volcano, and you can enjoy interacting with magnificent Whale Sharks & Manta Rays in Donsol

Day 1 - Travel North of Manila to Banaue.

Often called “the eighth wonder of the world”, the Banaue Rice Terraces stand as the most awe- inspiring man-made landscape in the Cordilleras! More than 2,000 years ago, the lfugaos, with only simple tools and bare hands, carved the rice fields out of the mountainsides with several peaks rising as high as 6,000 feet.

Day 2 - Banga an Rice Terraces and Village Tour/Trek

Whole day Banga-an Tour – Inclusive of jeepney transfer and guide, inclusive of lunch. Banga-an is a small village located in the center of rice terracing area in Ifugao.

It takes about one hour from Banaue by jeepney. Banga-an Village is the home to rice terraces that were declared world heritage sites by UNESCO.

Day 3 - Day Trip to Sagada/Sagada Tour, local jeepney transport

Sagada is a town nestled among the pine forests and although it also boasts of picturesque mountain scenery and rice terraces, it is best known for the hanging coffins on the limestone cliffs.

Hanging coffins are also found in the caves of Sumaging and Lumiang, both of which are less than an hour away.

Day 4 - Travel back to Manila. Transfer to Airport for flight to Legaspi. Transfer to Hotel.

Day 5 - Pick up Hotel. Day Trek to Mount Mayon

Mount Mayon is one of the Bicol Region's top tourist destinations, and the Philippines' most active, and almost perfectly formed volcano. Inclusive of lunch.

Day 6 - Transfer to Donsol. Arrive Donsol. Free Time

Day 7 - Whale and Shark Interaction inclusive of lunch

The largest annual congregation of Whale Sharks is in Donsol from December to May.

These gentle giants are migratory animals, found in warm tropical waters as they follow their food supply.

They migrate to Donsol in vast numbers to take advantage of the dense food concentration of plankton and krill.

Day 8 - Transfer to Airport. Flight back to Manila.
