We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this superb little pocket guide to The Philippines
Website Designed by Nigel Sutherland Designs Ltd.
This is a holiday combining two contrasting locations. Explore Manila. We first stay in Metro Manila where we have the opportunity to enjoy the fine selection of shops, restaurants and bars the capital city has to offer Transfer from Manila to Cebu. Cebu is an island in central Philippines which has Cebu City as its capital. Mactan Island has a number of beach side resorts, with fabulous hotels, bars and restaurants, plus world class diving spots nearby.
A visit to Cebu presents a pleasant discovery of its rich history, multifaceted culture and captivating people. It provides a glimpse of the country's glorious past, with a number of preserved historic relics standing until today. Apart from its popular heritage sites, Cebu is endowed with a wealth of inviting, natural attractions that engage visitors in various activities. It boasts of white sand beaches, pristine waters and rich marine life fit for diving and snorkeling, as well as verdant mountains, mysterious caves and challenging trails for mountain trekking, and other outdoor sports activities. There are many famous monuments and landmarks on Mactan Island, and there are also workshops where you can see the manufacture of guitars - one of Cebu's most famous exports.
